THE STEPPES IN FORT WORTH, TEXAS SELECTS CURAFLO® ENGINEERED FLOW LINING SYSTEM™
Proprietary System Proves Faster and Less Costly Than Traditional Repiping Methods
BEACHWOOD, OHIO – CuraFlo®, a division of Cohesant, Inc. and a leading provider of pipe restoration services for multi-tenant buildings and other commercial and institutional structures, was selected by The Steppes apartment complex in Fort Worth, Texas to install its proprietary CuraFlo Engineered Flow Lining System® throughout this multi-tenant property.
The Steppes is comprised of 10, two-story buildings with a total of 92 units.. CuraFlo will line the hot water supply piping in each building in order to prevent future leaks and corrosion, minimize disruption to existing tenants and ensure optimal water flow and quality for years to come. CuraFlo was selected based on the company’s established track record with a variety of multi-family, commercial and institutional installations throughout the United States, as well as the quality of our epoxy lining process and ease of installation.
As a cost-effective and less-invasive alternative to pipe replacement, CuraFlo’s epoxy lining can be installed with little or no downtime while residents remain in place. Work will begin this summer.
“Steppes management appreciated the fact that CuraFlo’s epoxy lining is less disruptive to implement than traditional repiping methods,” said Skip Wolfe, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, CuraFlo. “Residents will not be displaced during installation, and their water service will not be disrupted. Also, CuraFlo’s epoxy lining is a long-lasting solution that yields improved water flow and quality, and protects against future leaks and corrosion.”
In 1996, CuraFlo became the first company in North America to provide epoxy pipe lining services in residential multi-tenant and other commercial buildings. In addition to a full array of infrastructure rehabilitation services, the company’s epoxy pipe lining solutions are widely renowned for alleviating problems with deteriorating pipes and plumbing systems. In many instances, this proves a highly effective alternative to pipe replacement. In fact, pipes restored with CuraFlo’s epoxy lining can gain an additional service life of 50 years or more.
