Our water experts will perform a thorough inspection of your plumbing system to find the cause of your problem. And then they’ll recommend the best solution for you. Some alternatives include:
Spot Repairs
Spot fixes may solve a problem for a short period of time, but they are not a long-term solution. Pipe corrosion is a systemic problem. If you have a problem in one part of the pipe, it is highly likely that you will have problems through out your entire system. And over time, the cost of one-off pipe repairs can really add up.
Pipe Replacement
The traditional solution for pipe problems has been replacement, or repiping. It’s a more costly and messy option, requiring the removal of sections of walls or floors (or if outside, excavation) to access the pipes. With demolition, homeowners may also face the risk of asbestos, lead or mold abatement issues and costs. And it still doesn’t address the underlying problem of water coming into contact with the pipes – one of the leading causes of pipe corrosion.
Epoxy Lining
Epoxy lining offers benefits to you that other methods do not.
- Minimal disruption to residents. Whether we’re working on the interior pipes of a building or a water main on the street, we can complete the job with minimal demolition or excavation. In fact, in most cases, tenants can remain in the building during the job.
- A more permanent solution. With epoxy lining, we are eliminating the cause of the corrosion, and extending the life of the pipe. You can expect an epoxy-lined pipe to last 40-60 years.
- A more cost-effective solution during the job and after. Lining the pipes will save you 30-40% over replacement. And because you’re eliminating the cause of the corrosion, your cost in addition repairs, insurance and property damage is also reduced dramatically.
- Better water quality. Epoxy lining provides your residents years of clean, safe water, free from the hazards of corrosion.
- A better warranty. With pipe replacement, the typical warranty is just 1-2 years. With CuraFlo, your pipes are guaranteed up to 10 years.
