Leaky Pipes? Low Water Pressure? Discolored Water?
Epoxy Pipe Lining
 Mid-Atlantic, USA

The Crisis: Dangerously constricted water supply lines
A mid-Atlantic commercial property owner was put on notice by the local fire department because their water supply lines were no longer meeting the required 1,000-gallons-per minute flow requirements. The restriction was so bad that four hydrants on the owner’s property were delivering a mere 200 to 300 gallons per minute.

When considering possible solutions, the property manager was hoping that it wouldn’t be necessary to repipe the building or tear up their property’s extensive landscaping.   He contacted CuraFlo to assess the problem and recommend a solution.  CuraFlo gave him the news he was looking for.

After thorough inspection, CuraFlo Professionals determined that tuberculation, or heavy buildup within the pipe, was source of restriction.  Because the pipes were structurally sound, CuraFlo recommended restoring them using trenchless technology with our CuraFlo Spincast System.

The Solution: The CuraFlo Spincast System™
CuraFlo was able to solve the problem without disrupting the landscaping and without interrupting water service to the tenants. Using our proprietary CuraFlo Spincast System for rehabilitating large diameter water pipes, we were able to restore the pipes and provide a long-term solution that saved both time and money.

In a job that took less than two weeks, 1,200 linear feet of 6” and 8” C/I mains were cleaned and then lined with an ANSI/NSF-61 approved epoxy   The project was a complete success. Domestic water flow was restored and all four fire hydrants now supply water at rates equal to or above code requirements of 1,000 gallons per minute.
