The crisis: Low water pressure
Poor water flow is commonly caused by an accumulation of scale deposits inside the pipes both within the building and in the water mains. Sometimes known as “tuberculation,” this buildup can get progressively worse if ignored, and can eventually cut off water flow altogether. Galvanized and cast iron pipes are particularly susceptible to this problem.
Low water pressure can also be the result of improper design and installation. In fact, we have seen numerous instances where buildings were fitted with pipes that were either too small or had the size of the pipe reduced too quickly.
The solution: repair, repipe, restore.
By conducting a thorough inspection of your water system, we can determine the precise cause of your water flow issues, and then recommend the best solutions.
If improper design is the culprit, our repair crews can replace the pipes and correct any installation errors.
In cases where water flow is restricted by deposit buildup, epoxy pipe lining is often the most cost-effective remedy. Using our Engineering Flow Lining System and Spincast epoxy lining process, we can remove corrosion buildup and restore the pipe interior to prevent future deterioration. This method is particularly effective for underground water mains and for jobs that require us to cut into walls, floors, and other structures.
Let us show you a better way to restore your water flow.
