The California West HOA, consisting of 290 split level homes, are nestled in the sprawling foothills of the Santa Monica Mountain Conservatory, specifically known as Iverson Ranch. This area is located in Chatsworth California, just North of the City Los Angeles. It is a beautifully landscaped in among rolling hills with a typical Western look style of stucco architecture built in 1988.  This scenic area is also susceptible to the harsh water conditions of the Southern California area. California West HOA therefore is no exception to the rule, as they began to spring leaks from under the slab in the copper plumbing system in various units of this lovely homestead in less than 8 years. The Board of Directors was determined not to waste their current funds on simply doing repairs continuously until their reserves were depleted.

Realizing that the leaking pipe problems were starting to escalate, plumbing contractors were called on to furnish proposals on the best resolution to the leaking pipe problems.  Re-piping as well as epoxy lining of the current system were all considered. After due deliberation, epoxy pipe lining was chosen as the most effective choice due to the cost factors, as well as due to the life expectancy and long term warranty of the epoxy pipe lining process over re-piping.  When the owners realized that with the epoxy pipe lining process delivered by Curaflo of Los Angeles that the occupants of the properties were going to have their water turned on the same day, that basically no walls or slabs had to be penetrated to effectively epoxy line their systems with Curapoxy, that was the clinching blow to all of the other bidders on the project.

Currently, Curaflo of Los Angeles is delivering an average of 7 completed units per week, each with their hot and cold water being lined, cured, flushed and turned back on the same day.  Our commendations from those occupants that we have worked on thus far are exceptional, and Curaflo of Los Angeles is proud to add the California West HOA project to its long list of very satisfied clients.
