For Drain And Sewer Pipes: CIPP Lining Technology
CIPP lining, or cured-in-place pipe lining, is an innovation that can minimize your repiping costs without requiring an entirely new drainage pipe to be replaced or installed. This type of trenchless pipe lining is most often used for repairing and servicing sewer line drain pipes that remove and lead both waste and wastewater away from a property to the public sewer system.
CIPP Lining Technology Benefits
Cured-in-Place Pipe Lining is a safe and proven method of trenchless pipe repair when dealing with leaking or corroded pipes. Its benefits include:
- Much faster process
- Doesn’t require tearing open walls
- Doesn’t require disruptive digging
- Less expensive than pipe replacement.
CIPP Lining Process
Here’s how the Curaflo team rehabilitates your pipes – from the inside!
CLEANING
Blocked or root-intruded pipes are cleaned with tools and processes appropriate to the situation.
INSTALLATION
An epoxy-saturated liner is pulled into place through existing access points, and an internal rubber bladder is inflated, pressing the epoxy against the pipe wall.
RESTORED PIPE
The epoxy cures in a few short hours, then the bladder is deflated and removed, leaving behind a clean, seamless “pipe within a pipe.”
Our team will use a video camera inspection to inspect the pipe thoroughly for any possible issue. We will then use the appropriate cleaning method such as hydro-jetting or the use of a mechanical cleaning tool to remove debris and obstructions. CIPP lining is a viable pipe rehabilitation solution for any cast iron drain pipe or waste sewer line.
