Project Description

Kiwanis Fairview Manor

Located in False Creek near the Olympic Village, a 61-unit subsidized housing facility suffered from corrosion and fractures throughout its copper Domestic Water pipe system. CuraFlo, a leader in pipe restoration, was approached by the Owners of Kiwanis Fairview Manor for the frequent leaks they were experiencing. Corrosion and stress fractures were the cause of many of the leaks in the Domestic Water pipe system in this building.

CuraFlo recommended CuraFlo’s Epoxy Lining System, an innovative technology that enabled the existing Domestic Water pipes to be lined with an epoxy barrier inside the existing copper pipe system. The CuraFlo Epoxy Lining System gave an advantage that repipe could not,  which was to reduce and minimize demolition of the walls and ceilings.

All leaks were stopped, whether these were pinhole leaks or stress fracture leaks.
