Project Description

CuraFlo solution boots pipe durability and water flow – in a fraction of the time of conventional Repiping for the Moody Towers, University of Houston.

Moody Towers, University of Houston located in Houston, Texas is the University’s largest complex of residence halls. The two 18-story building was constructed in 1972 and housed more than 1,100 students. Facilities officials concluded that Moody Towers faced potential serious water crisis in the near future. “Repiping would have been extremely time intensive and expensive”, quoted by Craig Bradd, the Maintenance Supervisor of the University of Houston.

Tough Challenges demanded unique solutions, CuraFlo recommended a combination of Epoxy Lining and Pipe Replacement in areas were existing pipe was too eroded to line. Their recommendation ensured a sturdy, long-lasting solution for the towers – and a quick turnaround to meet University of Houston’s strict timetable.
